sketch Gary
Sorry, I got ambushed by work, so this is only a sketch. I'll work on it over the weekend and post to twitter when I post a more up to date version.
Now, on to other things.
It's amazing how easily this comic converts over into my own life as a developer. Look, the finish line! Oh wait, they forgot to tell me about some of the functionality. Oh look! The finish line! Oh wait, there's a change request. Oh look, the finish line! Nope, the client doesn't like the color. Oh look, the finish line. Nope, it's got some bugs. Oh look, the finish line. Oh wait, the client changed their mind, they want a redeisgn. At least a cat sometimes catches its prey. I mean, I guess I do too sometimes, but there's rarely a break to enjoy it, to feel satisfaction in it, because there's always something else falling down that needs to be corrected.
Sorry, I'm not what one would call, "in the best of moods". My cat died on Wednesday. He was a great cat, very personable. He'd greet visitors, or those he lived with when they awoke. On occasion he'd play, which was always a lot of fun to see because he looked like he was having fun. And, he'd follow you around, jsut to say hi, and maybe get a treat. I'll definately miss him.
