Posts this week are probably going to be a little short, I'm out of town for work. I do have the comics done for the week, just not posted, so if I forget to post one, please shoot me an email reminding me. My days when traveling for work tend to be tiring, so I might not always remember everything.

I actually really like how this comic turned out. I like the pajamas, and I really like the lighting and position I got in frame one. Ok, enough patting myself on the back about this one.

In slightly related news, I now have nine comics left to ink, and seventeen left to color and shade. If I have any free time over the week, I'll ink more and base color the ones I have already inked. I think I've explained my "process" before, but if I haven't, here are the steps. One, I come up with a joke and dialog (sometimes a really quick/rough sketch if it's a visual joke I'm afraid I'll forget). Two, do an extremely rough page layout (how many frames, how are they arranged, roughly what angles and positions do I want people in). Three, I sketch out each panel (a rough sketch in blue, not clean at all, I use this for the inking I do next). Four, I ink out each panel (I make the sketch look nice and clean, in a new layer). Five, I duplicate the inked layer, and add in my base colors (no shading, just the main colors for things). Six, I duplicate the base color layer (because I want to be able to select and blur after shading) and I shade it and blur it (I still have the inked layer above this, and I only blur the colors, so the lines stay clean, and the part that separates from the line when blurring, is filled in by the base color layer that's below the new color layer I'm working on). Seven, I add in the test bubbles and outline them. Eight, I save it as a jpg at full size in GIMP (what I draw in). Nine, I open the image in Paint.net and I reduce it to the size I'm going to post, and save it (I do this in Paint.net because it's algorithm for image reduction is noticeably better than GIMP's, but it doesn't have all the tools that GIMP has, so I can't draw with it). Ten, post the comic, coming up with an interesting comment like this, and a second joke for the mouse over. That's my ten step process. Now that you know it, you too can make a web comic. Actually, if anyone eery has questions about this stuff, feel free to email me, and I'll try to answer your questions.

Also of interest, a giant mech/robot live action war series that's trying to get funding. Check it out. They have until October 13th to meet their funding goal.

And now, for a little bit of creepy horror. Mostly just a jump short, but enjoy.

FEWDIO Horror: Ninja Clown Monster

Hah! I just realized, as posting this, comic number ten is on 10-10, which makes sense, but still funny to me, maybe I'm just tired.
