Gary
For the few people that understand today's comic, you rock, and you should stop trying to debug java script, if you ever want the dreams to go away. Trust me, I know, I've spent a lot of time recently tracing down a java script bug that's a timing issue, where fields on a parent screen aren't refreshed before jquery insanity tries to modify them.

In other news, even though I didn't get much sleep this weekend, it was a rather relaxing weekend. The Chicago weather is gorgeous right now. It's like a perfect summer day. If you take that and mix it with the weekend activities, it just made everything great and relaxing. My flight in was late and somewhat annoying, but then I arrived at O'hare, got a shamrock shake, and sat in a mostly empty food court, working on a comic. After my girlfriend's flight got in, we headed to take a cab, and I ran into a friend I haven't seen in years. We spent a little time catching up, which was fun, then I caught a cab. The cab took a slightly scenic route to get where we were staying. That scenic route passed through some of my old stomping grounds, so that brought back memories, oh and during the flight and a little at the airport, I was reading a "The new Doctor Who Adventures" book, "Cat's Cradle: Time's Crucible". This series of books was produced in the early 90s, after Doctor Who was canceled. This one, like a bunch of others, features the seventh Doctor, probably my favorite Doctor, who was played by Sylvester McCoy, and his companion Ace, also probably my favorite companion in the Doctor Who series. I used to read the books in this series when I was a kid, so that's also adding to the relaxing/memory prone weekend. So then we get to where I'm staying, we get greated by my sister's dog, a great newfoundland mutt, we clean up, and we crash. Then Saturday, we go to visit my other sister, her husband, and their new kid. We basically just hang out and catch up. Some of which we do outside in seventy degree weather. It's all very relaxing and great. We also got cake from a great bakery Le Sucre if you're in the northern Chicago suburbs and you want a really good cake or cupcake, you should check them out. When it was time to head to a dinner (we went to Chicago for a wedding), my brother in law gave us a lift to our hotel so we could get ready. We then head out to the restraunt were we have one of the strangest, most sureal experiences. Someone hired for a party in another part of the restraunt was in blackface. Obviously, we left the restaurant, walked back to the hotel (only like a mile away), and at at the hotel restraunt. Even despite that bit of drama, everyone sat down and had a great and fun meal. We then all went and hung out at the pool. All in all very relaxing. Right now, as I type this comment, it's a warm Sunday afternoon, I've just gotten back from Ihop, and I've opened the hotel room window, getting a great breeze, as I sit here, typing away, about to finish up the comic. So yeah, not much sleep, but still very, very relaxing.
