Heads up
First, a little heads up. I plan to have the comics out regularly this week, but since I'm out of town and they're not done yet, there is a chance that I won't get them done in time. I tend to not have much free time when I'm out of town. However, any comics I miss this week, I will get done and post next week (I'm on vacation next week, so it's actually in my best interest to get them done this week, heh).
Now, I have to admit, I'm kind of liking the colored outlines today. I've added another level in them so I outline in color, then I go through (after shading the non-line bits), and change some of the colors to highlights, some to shadow, and some stay as the base color. It's not perfect yet, but it's getting closer to something I think works. I need a better way of determining what the base color will be, and it might be that I just use the colored in color as the base. I just thought of that, but that might work. Perhaps I'll try that for the next one, and see if I like it.
Ok, on this note, I have to get some rest. I'm pretty burnt out from a test I had, and I have to wake up early for Monday in the office (it's Sunday as I post this, I normally post the night before you can see the comic). Hmmm... I kind of want a thin crust pizza (been eating a stuffed pizza all weekend). End line.
