Battle.net is hell Blizzard with Battle.net equals total failure. They should just team up with a system that does this professionally. So, I wanted to give the real money auction house a try in Diablo 3, so say I gave it a try, and it was such a cluster #@$@!@#. So, you click on add money in the game, it pops up a window telling you it's going to open a browser for you to set this up. Fine. Not ideal, but fine. So it opens up a new browser, first thing, you have to get an "authenticator", basically because their security is horrid. So I get the phone app, but before I'm allowed to add it to my account, I have to verify my email address, again. So they send an email, I open it, it has a link which opens up another window, my email address is validated. It then tells me to type in the id and auth code from the app. It says the hyphens aren't necessary, implying that they don't have to be remove, but can be, so I type it in with the hyphens, not looking, because I'm looking at my phone to get the 12 digit code, I hit enter, and it errors, because not all of the id made it in, because the field length is 12 characters, and the hyphens aren't striped out. I reenter the code, and it takes me to a page to fill out my address, in case I ever order anything that needs to be physically shipped (I won't). I think go to another page to enter payment information, I choose $10 and paypal. It takes me to paypal, and paypal warns me that I'm authorizing battle.net to do transactions without additional authorization. This makes me yell "HELL NO!". Why would I link my real money to a system that's been hacked more times than a computer in a college computer room? All I wanted to do was the single $10 transaction, so I go back, and do a credit card transaction. This time it pops up a screen to enter my cell phone for sms security. I'm not sure if this is mandatory, but, I've made it this far, so pressing cancel seems like a bad idea. This texts my phone, and I have to enter in that code, then it tells me everything was successful, and the funds should be usable in one to three days. So I guess "most payments" take one to three days to authorize. So again I'll say it, Blizzard, leave online transactions to people who know how to do it, because you obviously don't.
