Gary Author Comments aka Comic News
Chicago Wizard World Just when you think you're improving, and you're starting to get proud of your work, something comes up, and you realize just how far off you still are. So, this weekend I was working on making posters for my booth at Wizard World, (Oh yeah, I'll be at Wizard World this year, so come check me out) and as I blew up some comics from earlier this year to use as posters, I was sadly surprised. They didn't scale as well as I'd have liked them to. The posters will be 11x17, and each comic I want to do as a poster will probably take me between two hours and three days to get up to poster quality. So these comics I chose because I thought they were the cream of the crop, so to see how much work each of them is requiring, saddens me a bit. Hopefully they'll turn out amazing and people will love them.
Now, onto the comic. Yes. I was one of the people who owned a Jaguar, but, I bought it well after it had died. I bought it for Aliens VS Predator, which was a great game. The later PC versions were also quite fun. That said, it's not one of my prouder purchases. To this day, when I run across it in a box, I am filled with both pride and embarrassment. Have any of you made purchases you're both really happy with and completely embarrassed by? If so, what were they? Let us all know in the comments so we can both bask in your glory and shake our heads in shame at you.
