Gary Author Comments aka Comic News
It's so super Well, this is my 1000th comic posting. Who would have thought the comic would go on this long? Not me, that's for sure. If you want to celebrate it, find some of your favorites and share them with friends, or tell me which ones are you favorites in the comments below. To those who have been with me since the beginning, thanks for the support, I know there's been some up and down with the comic over the years. For those who started later, Thanks for reading, and I hope you're enjoying the ride.
I'll have a booth at Wizard World Chicago again this year, please come on out and say hi. If you do a webcomic and will be there, let me know. I want to put together a meet/greet/and talk shop kind of thing at a restaurant or bar while I'm there. I also plan to have a whiteboard at my booth for people to mention their webcomic's url.
Now, about today's comic... Ok, this isn't actually true, but it's not too far off. The current highest temperature super conductor that's been officially confirmed, super conducts at -139.15C (Hg-1223), or -120.15C under high pressure, and the coldest recorded temperature on earth is -93C in Antartica. So we're actually not too far off from superconductors in Antarctica.
