Sorry about the late post, power outage and all
If you've ever been good, and at a job long enough, you start to become a "go to" person, whenever it hits the fan. It's both a blessing and a curse. So, when things like that happen, it's always good to have an exit plan in place, plus, and added bonus, is that an exit plan like this also helps to fix your posture. No more slouching at your desk. People will look in you cube, see your amazing posture, and wonder, "who is that awfully important go getter?" My exit plan was actually much less elegant, it just involved me screaming and running out the door with my arms flailing above my head.
