On Samhain
The leaves have all gone from their rooted homes.
The nights have grown long and gone chilly to the bone.
Houses are bedecked with Jack-O-Lanterns, wearing expressions from the minds of children.
A Sabbath so sacred as Samhain, yet the true meaning lost in candy and costumes.
I take the spirits into my home and with them I celebrate without the modern twist.
In a circle I dance, in a rhyme I chant, and in a single second I transform with the Magik.
On Samhain I welcome the spirits, On Samhain I transform, On Samhain I call on Magik.
